Technical training that is the basis of all ballet movement, and is foundational to many other forms of dance. The ballet training system develops strength, flexibility, control and ultimately acute awareness of all muscles in the body. When its principals are applied to other dance forms, the result is a stronger and less injury prone dancer. Ballet training develops a strong framework from which the dancer can be safely and freely expressive in many dance forms.
Classes are carefully graded, with students grouped by physical dance development and knowledge level to insure a well-trained and educated dancer. Formal Ballet training begins at age 6. |
